Swim Lessons

We proudly offer swim lessons in both a group and private setting for all ages and abilities. All lessons are led by swim instructors in our heated indoor pool. Locker rooms and showers are available. Class size varies on availability of instructors. Make up classes are not offered unless class is cancelled by WPRD.

*NEW LESSON STRUCTURE* for 2025!

  • We have found that children aged 5 and younger take longer to develop all the skills needed to swim. In the past, we offered only one class for young beginner swimmers; with the new program, we will be offering three classes! Each class will build on the lessons learned previously. These classes include Parent and Child, Guppies, and Goldfish.
  • Children aged 6-14 also have three classes based on swim ability. These are our Ready-to-Swim classes.
  • We continue to offer the Parent & Tot class for ages 9 months - 2 years, the Adult Lessons for ages 15+.
  • Advanced Swim Lessons for ages 6-14 will be offered through our Park Partner, but will still take place at our Indoor Pool.

  • All WPRD class registrations are processed through CommunityPass. Individuals and Families are required to create an account in order to register. Phone registrations will not be accepted. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on the specified date for each session.
