The child will learn basic techniques so that when the time comes to graduate, the child is ready to make a splash in the next class.
Guppies (Beginner Swim 1) - Guppies class is designed for the young child who has never been in the water as well as those who have graduated from the Parent and Child class. This class marks the beginning of their independent aquatic journey. The child will begin learning the fundamentals such as arm and leg actions, floating, and submersion.

This class takes those skills previous learned and puts them all together. With increases in repetition, the child’s coordination and body control will greatly improve and prepare them for future lessons.

Participants who successfully complete this course will have achieved basic water competency in a pool environment and are encouraged to enroll in Ready-To-Swim Level 3 for endurance and refinement.
