Chief of Police Recruitment Listening Sessions

Come and make your voice heard at an upcoming Listening Session!

The City will hold two Listening Session community meetings in December to provide residents an opportunity to share their thoughts on what the City should look for when hiring our next Police Chief. The Listening Sessions will be moderated by representatives of the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police.   

All residents are welcome to attend one or both sessions listed below. 

Listening Session #1: December 9: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Shawnee Fire Station

Listening Session #2: December 10: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Douglas School
